DONATIONS
Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible. The Foundation welcomes cash and securities and may qualify for corporate matching funds.
Contributions can be made as one time donations or pledged over a period of time. Contributions (checks) can be mailed to the Somers Education Foundation at PO Box 624, Somers, CT 06071 or paid by credit card (below). Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible (EIN 73-1702479).
There are several levels of support from which to choose:
Named Fund $25,000
Benefactor $2,500-$24,999
Patron $1,000-$2,499
Sponsor $500-$999
Friend $100-$499
Contributor $1-$99

geissler's supermarket receipt program
SAVE YOUR RECEIPTS!
Geissler's will donate a percentage of all submitted Geissler's grocery receipts over $35 (excluding alcohol and cigarettes) to the Somers Education Foundation. Receipts must be less than six months old.
New (Sept 2022): New "Save Your Receipt" Box is at M&T Bank! See complete list of locations below.
New (Sept 2021): If you shop at Geissler's using "Rosie" (online shopping and delivery service), you can submit your Rosie email receipt! Simply forward your email receipt to:
Rosie@sefonline.org. We can take it from there!
New (Sept 2021): Geissler's has modified the rules for receipts. They no longer accept receipts that include an employee or senior discount. SEF fully understands this new rule and continues to be appreciative of how much Geissler's supports us.
Look for the Somers Education Foundation's "Save Your Receipt" boxes located at:

- Somers Senior Center
- Joanna's Restaurant
- Knitting Criations
- M&T Bank
- Henny Penny
- New drive up/drop off box at 179 Main Street in Somers (see video below).
Parents can also submit their receipts by having their school-age children drop them off at the donation boxes which are located in the Main Office of SES and MBA.
